In this diocese there are several indigenous peoples and communities that enrich the history of our country: Mestizos, Garífunas, Ramas, Misquitos, Mayagnas and Creoles whose culture and customs enhance history.
In the diocese, several languages are also spoken: Miskito, Rama, English Creole and Spanish.
The terrain is very adventurous: hills, rivers, mountain ranges, and small towns are all part of the beautiful landscape, which can be admired by those who travel the different places in buses, boats, boats, or on foot, crossing hand-made bridges to get from one place to another.
