What constitutes a serious and critical medical emergency?

Stroke
Heart attack
Decompensation due to chronic medical conditions
Allergies
Severe trauma
Vehicle run over
Wounds caused by firearm or sharp object
Shortness of breath (asphyxiation)

What is the correct procedure to receive medical care in case of an emergency?


Locate Urgent Care at the signalled entrance of the main building.
Admissions’ Desk: Please provide the pilgrim’s personal information upon arrival. If the pilgrim is indisposed, the person who is accompanying them will provide this information. The pilgrim’s WYD badge must be presented at this point.
Triage (Evaluation): Vital signs are taken and the correct care the pilgrim requires will be selected.
Medical care according to situation: The healthcare provider in charge of the case will evaluate the pilgrim and provide treatment. If further tests are required, these will be done at this time or will be scheduled for another appointment.
Discharge or hospitalization: Following the doctor’s evaluation and test results, the pilgrim will be either discharge of hospitalized.

Cold symptoms
Minor bumps and bruises
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Unspecified symptoms
Minor cuts
Dehydration
Other non-serious conditions

What is the correct procedure to receive care for a minor medical emergency?
