Meditatio: What does God say to you through the text?

John the Baptist was the one who came before Jesus to announce his coming and at the right moment, he recognized Jesus. Just as Jesus did, he spoke of the true message of God and did it with humility, from his heart, from his smallness. Am I like John the Baptist who recognizes Jesus and speaks of his message and love? What does Jesus want to say with respect to the least in the kingdom of heaven?

Oratio: What do I say to God?

I want to be small, humble, full of the Holy Spirit to share the message of the Lord, the message of love, of peace. I want to draw others to the kingdom of heaven, knowing that despite my weaknesses, I can have the will and strength to fight and remain on the straight and narrow. Lord, remain with me and help me to walk these paths of life that I may reach your kingdom.
